Viviana Beltran

Hello! My name is Viviana Beltran and I am originally from San Luis, AZ. I am currently a senior at the University of Arizona majoring in environmental science. I decided to apply to the Bio/Diversity Project because they work with K-12th graders who may not be exposed to STEM careers and thus not really encourage to pursue them, and I wanted to be a part of changing that. It is a well stated fact that more women and people from different backgrounds are needed in environmental science and other STEM fields. I’m excited to be a part of this project because I think its mission is making a major difference in children’s lives and their future.
