Sophie Byde

My name is Sophie and I am a junior studying Environmental Science with minors in Computer Science and Environmental Engineering. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and was fortunate enough to spend lots of my childhood exploring National Parks and growing my love for nature. I wanted to be a Bio/Diversity Project intern because of my strong interest in environmental education and passion for accessibility and inclusivity in the field of environmental science. As an intern, I am excited for the opportunity to positively impact local students by introducing them to the field of environmental science and helping them learn about the diverse ecosystems found right here in Tucson!
