Rosemary Sotelo

My name is Rosemary Sotelo, and I am a junior at the U of A majoring in Physiology with a minor in Spanish. This will be my first semester participating as an intern with the Bio/Diversity Project. I’ve previously worked for an academic outreach program that primarily focused on educating our younger generation on toxic masculinity. I enjoyed seeing the excitement that my students showed for the topics, and I got to learn how to be a mentor. My future plans include pursuing my studies and getting accepted into Medical School, as my dream is go become a Medical Doctor. I’m extremely excited to start this semester with The Bio/Diversity Project internship in hopes that I become a great mentor for the students.
