Rebecca Appel

Hello! My name is Rebecca Appel and I am a senior at the University of Arizona studying Geosciences with an emphasis in Earth, Oceans, and Climate. I have long been passionate about climate science and I cannot wait to share this passion with students in our community. Throughout my internship with the Bio/Diversity Project, I am excited to contribute to a classroom environment that centers diversity and encourages students of all backgrounds to explore STEM. I also look forward to cultivating a sense of appreciation for the wonderful biodiversity of Tucson, Arizona.
