Maya Salas is a Program Coordinator with the Bio/Diversity Project. With a double master’s in education and instructional design, Maya supports the Bio/Diversity Project through curriculum development and program organization. She leverages her former experience as a public-school teacher to design engaging and culturally relevant learning experiences for Tucson youth, while also equipping Bio/Diversity Project interns with equitable facilitation practices to enhance program effectiveness and community impact.
