Marie Frackiewicz

Hello! My name is Marie, I'm a junior at the U of A, and a Natural Resource major with an emphasis in Wildlife Conservation and Management. During my time as part of the Bio/diversity Project, I got to teach a class of mostly 6th graders, and a couple 7th graders, at Mansfeld Magnet Middle School. Know that this internship does require a bit of work that will be jarring at first, but you'll quickly work out a routine. Lesson plans were diverse and my partner intern and I got to teach all sorts of stuff like pollination, genetic diversity, and even agriculture. The main reasons I applied to this internship, was to improve my self-confidence, public speaking skills, and knowledge about biodiversity; and I did just that.
