Madison Cook

Hi! My name is Madison Cook and I am a Freshman studying Biochemistry here at the UA. Me and my co-intern taught a Kindergarten class at Wheeler Elementary School this semester. My main reason for joining this internship was because of my love for science and a desire to impart that passion to students. It was people in programs like this that really reached out to me when I was younger and distilled a love for science in me. I didn't realize when I joined this program just how much of an impact it would make on my life here in college. This internship has given me so many life skills in communication and open mindedness that I can take out into the rest of the world with me. If you're reading this and thinking about applying to the internship, then I say do it. You will not regret it.
