Lucy Drey

Hi! My name is Lucy Drey. I am a freshman at the University of Arizona in the Honors College, and I'm pursuing a major in Elementary Education. This internship was a way for me to gain classroom experience early, and having various experiences with working with kids previously, I knew I wanted to be in the classroom as soon as possible. I've been a mountain biking coach of 9 through 18-year-olds, and an elf at the North Pole Experience. Working with kids is my favorite thing in the world. Getting into the 7th grade classroom at Alice Vail with this program was my first opportunity within the university to try to start having a positive impact in students' lives, and even if it was minimal, I tried to do just that. I absolutely adore these students, they have so much energy and so much knowledge they're waiting to show you!
