Hello! I'm Lily McMullen, a sophomore at University of Arizona, pursuing a double major in Natural Resources (Conservation Biology) and Computer Science. My academic journey is driven by a deep fascination with the intersection of technology and environmental wellbeing. I believe that using the power of technology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence can play a pivotal role in creating innovative solutions for our planet's pressing ecological issues.

As a sophomore, I am already deeply engaged in research projects that explore how technology can enhance our understanding of natural ecosystems, predict environmental trends, and develop more effective conservation strategies. I really enjoy the process of coding and applying computational tools to ecological problems.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Bio/Diversity Project, as it aligns perfectly with my interests in environmental justice, diversity in STEM fields, and K-12 education. I understand that environmental discussions and decisions often exclude marginalized groups, and I am determined to change that narrative.

Through the Bio/Diversity Project, I look forward to working directly with K-12 students in our community, empowering them with the knowledge and resources needed to pursue STEM careers. By providing relevant environmental science education and promoting inclusivity, I hope to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
