Emily Granado

My name is Emily Granado and I am a Junior in the Honors College at the University of Arizona. I am studying sociology with a minor in Intercultural Studies. This semester, I am teaching 9th graders at Catalina High School. I was interested in the Bio/Diversity Project because I wanted to learn more about environmental conservation as well as help incorporate the concept of diversity into classrooms. I learned an abundance of knowledge in classroom management, lesson planning, and the importance of teaching science to underrepresented minorities.
