Amanda Platt

Hello, my name is Amanda Platt! I am a sophomore currently double majoring in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology as well as Classics with an Emphasis in Classical Civilizations. Additionally, I am minoring in Art History and Biochemistry. Whew, what a mouthful! I currently teach at Mansfeld Magnet Middle School as a teacher for two periods of an 8th grade engineering class. The Bio/Diversity Project is an amazing opportunity to combine my love of teaching while simultaneously growing in my own knowledge of the Sonoran Desert. It is my absolute pleasure to impact students in the classroom by imparting knowledge of the natural environment of Tucson!
