Megan Bootz
Hi! My name is Megan. I'm in my second year here at the UA but am classified as a junior. I'm a Natural Resources: Wildlife Conservation and Management major with a Psychology minor! This semester I taught 3 classes of 7th graders at Alice Vail Middle school. I was interested in the Bio/Diversity Project because I believe promoting biodiversity in the STEM fields is extremely important! I wanted to bring my love of environmental science into the classroom and get the students excited about it! One of the things I took away from this internship is the knowledge of how to create engaging and culturally relevant lessons. I look forward to educating our future generations in my career! Despite the COVID19 pandemic, this internship has been an amazing experience and I grew so much as a person during it!
