Maggie Kautz

Hi, my name is Maggie Kautz! I am a third year PhD student studying Optical Sciences. My research background is in opto-mechanical engineering for projects relating to astronomy and solar energy. I am very excited to be a part of the Bio/Diversity Project and help get kids excited about STEM and environmental science in particular. I am passionate about protecting our environment and believe bringing together diverse groups of future researchers will put us on the path towards the innovative solutions that will be used to combat climate change.
