Michelle Hein

Hi! My name is Michelle and I am a Freshman majoring in Bioinformatics. After interning in a conservation genetics lab here at the University of Arizona, I became fascinated with the interdisciplinary nature of biodiversity research. Combined with my passion for teaching and creating equitable learning environments, the Bio/Diversity Project is something I'm extremely honored to take part in! I hope that my passion shines through and I help to inspire young students to pursue a career in STEM!
